At The Lakes Knights Cricket Club, we're passionate about making cricket an enjoyable, positive and rewarding experience for every young player.

Whether your child is picking up a bat for the very first time, building confidence and skills, or aspiring to take their game to the next level, we offer a welcoming and supportive pathway for junior cricketers of all ages and abilities.

Summer Cricket - BNJCA

October to March

Summer cricket is our primary competition season, played through the Brisbane North Junior Cricket Association (BNJCA).

The program focuses on participation, skill development, teamwork, and enjoyment for all players.

Age Groups

Under 10

• Modified T20 format
• Everyone bats and bowls
• Ideal transition from Master Blasters

Under 11

• Longer matches
• Greater skill development
• Introduction to more advanced cricket concepts

Under 12 to Open

• Full cricket rules
• Competitive game formats
• Preparation for representative and senior cricket

Tuesday

• U10s - 4pm - 5pm
• U11s - 5:15pm to 6:30pm

Friday

• Super Sixes 5:50pm until 8pm (Match time only)

North Lakes State College oval and nets

Thursday

• U12 - 4:30 to 6:00pm

U13 to Open - Various times and locations across the region - Woodside, Burpengary Sports Complex, North Lakes State College, Grace College - Rothwell and Jack Gilliland Oval.

Winter Warehouse Cricket

Cricket doesn't stop when summer ends.

The Lakes Knights Winter Warehouse Competition provides junior players with an additional opportunity to continue developing their skills and enjoying cricket from May through August.
