- This day will introduce players to the venue, the game format, equipment.
- An opportunity to meet teammates or form teams with those new to clubs or from school-based programs.
- I would encourage any girl currently participating in Cricket Blast who are curious about the next steps in their cricket journey to attend.
βΉοΈDetails regarding the Sunday Competition Format
- All matches will be played atKalinga Park.
- Term 4 (Pre Christmas) and Term 1 (Post Christmas) registration options available.
- Games will be scheduled withAM and PM start times, based on number of registrations.
- This structure allows girls to playmixed Saturday cricket and girls-only Sunday games if they wish.
πOn-Ground Support
- Queensland Cricketwill provide hands-on, fortnightly support at Kalinga Park (first 3 weeks of competition will see QC staff on the ground)
- Cricket Managers, Coaches, and the Women & Girls Team will be there to create afun, inclusive environment for players new to the game.
Support includes:
- Skills coaching for Stage 1 players in the first weeks of the competition.
- On-field guidance and game understanding
- Support in fielding positions and overall development
- Available to answer questions on pathways and future opportunities

- Stage 2: 18m pitch | 9-a-side
- Matches every Sunday at Kalinga Park
- Grouped byability, with age considered Stage 1 (U11) Stage 2 (U13)
