The Woolworths Cricket Blast program has been designed to engage and empower kids up to 10 years old of all skill levels and abilities, unleashing their potential through fun, game-based activities. Kids (and parents) will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to progress through the program to junior cricket and beyond! Our #1 aim is FUN!

So what is Junior Blasters?
Junior Blasters is for kids learning the basic skills of cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game based activities. The activities are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. When they have mastered the basics they will be ready to graduate to Master Blasters where they can play modified games of cricket.

So what is Master Blasters?
Masters Blasters is a fun, social, safe, cricket program for boys and girls who can bowl with a straight arm over 14m. It is much shorter than traditional cricket, with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time. All the equipment is supplied and the games usually take place at the same venue each week, at a local cricket club or community centre.

Approximate age range is 7 to 10 year old’s dependent on skill level
Includes modified games of cricket
Minimum of 6 sessions with each session lasting up to 90 minutes
Due to COVID-19, it is encouraged that players supply their own bats.
Everyone gets a chance to bat, bowl and field
Girls only teams, as well as mixed teams are available
Caters for children with a disability
